In 2013 our founder, Keith Johnston, discovered that single family offices were looking for better ways to network, and to
pool their experiences and data. Their main frustrations:
Providers did not cater to them: few products were designed solely for family offices
Conferences were broken: lax controls on attendees meant they were swamped with salespeople and charlatans
Research was unreliable: they didn’t trust providers with their real numbers and assumed others acted similarly
The Family Office Council, is our response to these needs.
Individually, and as a group, we have built an enviable reputation as trusted intermediaries between individual family
offices themselves, and between them and their partners.
Our advisory board members each bring years of leadership experience and strong, global networks.
In addition to advising on event content and research topics, the advisory board set the criteria for membership.
